AUDIO: Richard Christy Reenacts ‘Home Alone 2: Lost in New York in New Phony Phone Call
“If he does another holiday-themed phony phone call where it involves a whole movie setup … he’s gone,” Howard jokes of longtime Stern Show staffer
On Tuesday, Howard debuted Richard Christy’s latest phony phone call, which saw the Stern Show staffer call a psychic’s radio show and re-enact “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.”
“Let’s work together to stop the Wet Bandits — you do your psychic tapping to tell the police where we are and I’m going to set some booby traps for these jerks,” Richard said, fooling the host into thinking he was 10-year-old Kevin McCallister.
Despite approval from co-host Robin Quivers, Howard argued that Richard put way too much time into the call, especially since he told the staffer not to do any more film reenactments after he did the same thing with the original “Home Alone” in the past. “I’m only playing it on the air because he put so much work into it,” he explained before teasing Richard with a threat. “If he does another holiday-themed phony phone call where it involves a whole movie setup … he’s gone.”
