Against all odds, legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne recently celebrated his 75th birthday. On Tuesday, Howard, noting his admiration for the singer, paid tribute to him as well as some of his wild past antics. “I love his music and I love his whole thing … I wish I could be a touch more like him … he’s just going through his life. If you don’t like what he’s doing, then deal with it,” he told co-host Robin Quivers. “To me, Ozzy really does embody the rock and roll spirit … [his voice] is one of the most recognizable singing voices in rock and roll history.”

In addition to running through highlights from Ozzy’s career both with Black Sabbath and as a solo artist, Howard also noted his role as a husband and father — which came to attention in the Osbourne family’s various Stern Show appearances before their historic MTV reality show, “The Osbournes.”

“One of the things I always loved about Ozzy, besides the music, was that juxtaposition between demonic rock star and family man,” Howard remarked. “It was so wild to see Ozzy trying to be like a dad.”

To commemorate Ozzy’s milestone birthday, Howard revealed a new special just released featuring some of Ozzy’s best Stern Show moments that’s now available on the SiriusXM app. Click here to watch!
