Hey now, here’s a real reason for “applesauce.”

As of Friday, a gaping “classic TV available for streaming” hole has just been filled, as all 89 episodes of “The Larry Sanders Show” have finally become available on HBO Go and HBO Now.

The influential sitcom – and original source of “hey now” – stars the late Garry Shandling, recent Emmy-winner Jeffrey Tambor, and Rip Torn, and includes supporting turns from Janeane Garofalo, Jeremy Piven, Jon Stewart, Sarah Silverman, and Bob Odenkirk. The show also features an endless parade of celebrities paying themselves, such as Stern Show guests John Stamos, Norm Macdonald, David Spade, Carol Burnett, Sally Field, Rob Reiner, and even Howard Stern himself.

While the complete series has been available on DVD, the leap to streaming will undoubtedly allow more to check “Larry Sanders” out. For the uninitiated, TV Line posted a list of eight classic episodes to get you started.

Happy streaming, and no flipping!
