Neil Young, Jackson Browne, Rush to Present at 2017 Rock Hall Ceremony
The past inductees will honor Pearl Jam, Joan Baez, and Yes as they're inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Every year, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame welcomes its inductees in grand fashion, with current and future honorees paying tribute to the new members. This year’s ceremony is no different, with prior inductees Neil Young, Jackson Browne, and Rush taking part.
Neil Young will induct Pearl Jam, with whom he has shared a relationship for decades, notably performing “Rockin’ in the Free World” at the 1993 VMA’s and collaborating on the 1995 album, “Mirror Ball.” Jackson Browne will induct folk icon Joan Baez, who has recorded many of Browne’s songs, as well as collaborated with him in concert. Rush’s Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will introduce Yes, with whom they share a similar progressive rock-pioneering background. Since their own induction in 2013, Rush has also been vouching for Yes to finally get in the hall.
The 2017 Rock Hall inductees will also include Journey, Electric Light Orchestra, and Tupac Shakur. The ceremony takes place on April 7 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., with a later airing on HBO and SiriusXM.
