VIDEO: HBO Drops New ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Promo
The premium network's Emmy-winning drama returns July 16

As Scarlett Johansson told Howard on Monday’s Stern Show, there’s an ass for every seat, but in the peculiar case of Westeros’ Iron Throne, there may well be three of them.
On Thursday, HBO dropped the first official promo video for “Game of Thrones” Season 7—the Emmy-winning drama’s penultimate season. The relatively short teaser shows Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), and Jon Snow (Kit Harington) each strolling up to the Iron Throne and taking a turn atop the coveted but seemingly uncomfortable seat.
Aptly titled “Long Walk” and even more aptly set to the James song “Sit,” the clip also offers fans a quick glimpse of the Night King, the cold-blooded leader of the White Walkers.
