The Beatles Channel, the first Fab Four-filled radio station of any kind, is coming to Sirius XM.

Launching May 18 (at 9:09 a.m., no less) on channel 18, The Beatles Channel will feature the band’s full core catalogue as well as live versions, rarities, interviews, and a slate of programming designed to explore the Beatles as individuals and their music in historical context.

“We’ve worked with The Beatles and Apple Corps Ltd. to create a channel that is as vital today as when the band’s music was first recorded,” Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer of Sirius XM, said in a statement. “The channel will be all-things-Beatles, 24/7. The soundtrack of our world, made by John, Paul, George and Ringo.”

“I still remember the thrill of when we first heard our music on the radio, but I don’t think any of us would have imagined that we’d have our very own Beatles radio channel more than 50 years later,” Sir Paul McCartney added. “The SiriusXM channel will have it all, 8 Days a Week.”

“Great news, The Beatles will have their own channel on SiriusXM. Now you can listen to The Beatles, Any Time at All. Peace & Love,” Ringo Starr added.

The station’s programming will include shows such as “Breakfast With the Beatles,” featuring music and stories about the band, “A Day in the Life,” highlighting daily career milestones, “Get Back: The Beatles in Britain,” offering a U.K. perspective, and “My Fab Four,” featuring special guest DJs playing their four favorite Beatle tunes.

The lads from Liverpool join Bruce Springsteen, the Grateful Dead, Frank Sinatra, and other music legends to receive their own SiriusXM channel.

The launch of the channel comes a week before the release of the 50th anniversary box set of “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.” Much like 1-888-9-ASSHOLE, a phone number has been set up for Beatle fans to call and make requests and contribute stories (844-999-BEATLES).

Howard announced the exiting addition to the SiriusXM family on Tuesday’s Stern Show and the staff was uniformly jazzed.

“That’s amazing!” Robin exclaimed after learning the news.

“I think this channel’s gonna be great,” Gary Dell’Abate added.
