Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith hosts the special, airing on PBS in November

The Acropolis of Athens has been ground zero for festivals and historically significant events for perhaps thousands of years, but only now is its full potential finally being realized.

City Drive Films has dropped a trailer for a Foo Fighters concert special filmed at Greece’s renowned Acropolis. The performance was shot in July for the PBS documentary series “Landmarks Live in Concert,” hosted by Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, and will air in November.

The trailer (above) teases the Stern Show veterans playing several of their most iconic hits, including “Everlong” and “Times Like These,” as well as new songs from their upcoming album “Concrete and Gold.”

“We’ve done some crazy things over the last 20 years, but I think this might be the craziest thing the Foo Fighters have ever done,” Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl said in a statement. In addition to bringing down the (already ruined) house, the “Landmark” clip shows the band and Chad traveling all around Athens, visiting some of the historic sites.

The Foo Fighters kick off a North American tour in October, alongside acts like Queens of the Stone Age, Cage the Elephant, Royal Blood, and Liam Gallagher. “Concrete and Gold”—featuring Sir Paul McCartney drumming on one of the tracks—is available Sept. 15.

The Foo Fighters’ “Landmarks Live in Concert” airs Nov. 10 on PBS. Check out the trailer (above).
