VIDEO: Eddie Vedder Jams With Street Musicians Outside Wrigley Field
Pearl Jam frontman plays “Corduroy” after a Chicago Cubs game

Eddie Vedder may be one of his generation’s biggest rock stars, but he’s still a man of the people.
Cameras caught the Pearl Jam frontman jamming with street performers on Friday night outside of Chicago’s Wrigley Field. The impromptu performance occurred after a baseball game when Vedder, an avid Chicago Cubs fan, reportedly borrowed a guitar from a pair of buskers and played with them to “Corduroy,” a song Vedder wrote for Pearl Jam’s 1994 album “Vitalogy.”

It’s unclear how many onlookers recognized Vedder, but this isn’t the first time the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has performed outside the Cub’s iconic baseball park. Last October, following the team’s Game 4 World Series loss, Vedder performed The Band’s “The Weight” with Grammy-winning guitarist Derek Trucks and Oscar-nominated actor Bill Murray.
More recently, he shared the stage with The Who’s Pete Townshend at the Classic Quadrophenia show in Chicago. He helped the rock legend perform several songs from The Who’s enduring “Quadrophenia” album, including “I’m One,” “The Real Me,” and “Love, Reign O’er Me,” according to Rolling Stone.
