U2 Reveals New Album Details and North American Tour Dates
Irish rock band also teases upcoming Kendrick Lamar collaboration
November 1, 2017U2 has dropped new details regarding its 14th studio album “Songs of Experience,” arriving in December, as well as the dates for the North American leg of its 2018 “Experience + Innocence Tour.”
In addition to releasing artwork for “Songs of Experience” (below)—featuring a black-and-white photo of Bono’s son Eli Hewson alongside The Edge’s daughter Sian Evans— the band unveiled the track listing for the album, which has been described as an intimate collection of songs reportedly inspired by a famed Irish poet who suggested to Bono that he write music as if he were dead.

The band’s tour kicks off May 2 in Tulsa and hits a variety of U.S. and Canadian cities—including New York and Uniondale—before concluding June 29 at the Prudential Center in Newark.
