Disney’s live-action “Lion King” has found itself a queen.

Beyoncé has joined the cast of the upcoming remake, as have Keegan-Michael Key and Stern Show regular Eric Andre. She’ll play the adult version of Nala, while the “Eric Andre Show” host-turned-prostate karaoke champion and the “Key & Peele” co-creator will both play hyenas.

They join a robust cast of previously announced stars, including Donald Glover (as adult Simba), Seth Rogen (as Pumbaa), John Oliver (as Zazu), Alfre Woodard (as Sarabi), Chiwetel Ejiofor (as Scar), and James Earl Jones (who will once again play Mufasa), among others.

Jon Favreau will direct the film, a CGI remake of Disney’s animated 1994 classic. In addition to directing all three “Iron Man” movies for the studio, the actor, filmmaker, and longtime Stern Show guest struck gold in 2016 with his live-action remake of “The Jungle Book,” which pulled nearly a billion dollars at the international box office.

“It is a director’s dream to assemble a talented team like this to bring this classic story to life,” Favreau said in a statement.

“The Lion King” roars into theaters on July 19, 2019. Check out the full cast (below).
