In the week following the death of country music icon Glen Campbell, several artists from various music genres have paid tribute to the “Rhinestone Cowboy” singer. Howard mentioned on Tuesday’s Stern Show how he’d been watching videos online of the many cover songs being performed in Glen’s honor. From John Mayer to recent Stern Show guest Chris Stapleton, check out a few of the renditions done to remember the late, great singer-songwriter.

John Mayer – "Gentle on My Mind”

Melissa Etheridge - “Wichita Lineman”

Chris Stapleton – “Rhinestone Cowboy”

Toby Keith – “Wichita Lineman”

We lost one of the greatest voices, guitar players and entertainer that our world has ever seen. Glen Campbell. It seems this year has been filled with these moments where we've lost people that have enriched our lives with their pure talent. This is a huge loss for country music. Maybe Glen and Merle are picking a tune together right now. If so, I bet my Grandad is right there with a front row ticket. Life is short. Enjoy it while it's here.
