VIDEO: Nick Kroll’s Animated Comedy ‘Big Mouth’ Shows Puberty as the Ultimate Nightmare

John Mulaney, Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph, and Jordan Peele also star on the raunchy Netflix series

Puberty is frightfully funny in the first teasers for “Big Mouth,” Nick Kroll’s animated Netflix comedy set to debut in September.

Loosely based on his and co-creator Andrew Goldberg’s teenage years, the series shows hilariously raunchy Hormone Monsters (voiced by Kroll and Maya Rudolph) disrupting the lives of teenagers by coercing them into doing everything from throwing temper tantrums to sleeping in their own ejaculate.

In the teaser (above), the Hormone Monster sneaks up on an unsuspecting Andrew (voiced by John Mulaney) as he’s preparing to turn in for the night at a sleepover. The Hormone Monster has other plans for him, however, and before Andrew knows it he’s been tempted into masturbating while fantasizing about a wall clock.

“Big Mouth,” also starring celebrity superfan Jason Mantzoukas, Stern Show veteran Fred Armisen, Jenny Slate, Jordan Peele, and Jessi Klein, debuts Sept. 29. on Netflix. Watch another teaser (below).
