Broken Lizard's long-anticipated sequel, written and directed by Jay Chandrasekhar, hits theaters April 20

Vermont’s most hilarious highway patrolmen are back, and this time they’re exporting their shenanigans across the northern border.

Fox Searchlight just dropped the official red band trailer for “Super Troopers 2,” the long-anticipated follow-up to the Broken Lizard comedy troupe’s cult 2001 film about a group of uproariously incompetent state troopers.

The sequel’s raunchy red band trailer (above) follows the officers as they embark on their biggest mission yet, assimilating a small border town which had been erroneously categorized as Canadian. From there, plenty of hijinks ensue, including bald eagle hunting, bears tipping over porta-potties, and discussions about whether or not one might need a ladder to properly enjoy intercourse with a moose.

Directed and written by frequent Wrap Up Show guest Jay Chandrasekhar, “Super Troopers 2” features a returning cast of Jay, Steve Lemme, Kevin Heffernan, Erik Stolhanske, Paul Soter, Brian Cox, former “Wonder Woman” star Lynda Carter, and 2015 Stern Show guest Jim Gaffigan, as well as a few new faces, like Fred Savage, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and past Stern Show guest Rob Lowe.

“Super Troopers 2” hits theaters April 20, 2018 (a.k.a. 4/20). Check out the red band trailer (above).
