VIDEO: Krysten Ritter Gives Anger Management a Shot in New ‘Jessica Jones’ Trailer
Season 2 of the Marvel-Netflix series debuts March 8
February 20, 2018Krysten Ritter’s tough-talking, booze-guzzling, ill-tempered private investigator will do anything to beat back her demons in the latest Season 2 trailer for “Jessica Jones,” even if it means punching them straight in the head.
As the new clip for the Marvel-Netflix series’ upcoming episodes shows, the titular heroine has now even enrolled in anger management classes to overcome her dark past—though that may not be the perfect solution either.
“I’ll start at the beginning,” she tells her anger management group as the trailer (above) begins. “My whole family was killed in a car accident. Someone did horrific experiments on me. I was abducted, raped, and forced to kill someone. And I’m in here bouncing a goddamned ball.”
From there we get a montage of explosive action and sardonic one-liners, as well as a few glimpses of Season 1 favorite and former love interest Luke Cage (Mike Colter), who we last saw teaming up with Jessica during last year’s “Defenders.” It’s unclear to what extent Luke or Season 1’s seemingly vanquished villain Kilgrave (David Tennant) will appear in upcoming episodes, but the characters have now both been teased in recent clips.
“Jessica Jones” Season 2 co-stars returning cast members Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Eka Darville, as well as newcomers Leah Gibson, J.R. Ramirez, and Janet McTeer. The new episodes debut March 8 on Netflix.
