VIDEO: ‘Silicon Valley’ Season 5 Trailer Has Stress Vomit, Drag Racing, and a Pig

Mike Judge-created tech comedy returns to HBO on March 25

There's a new C.E.O. of Pied Piper in the Season 5 trailer for HBO’s “Silicon Valley,” but being king of the hill is harder than it looks.

The newly released trailer (above) begins with Jared (Zach Woods) introducing Richard (Thomas Middleditch) as the burgeoning tech company’s new leader, but when he’s called on to make an inspirational speech in front of the troops he winds up vomiting into a trash can instead.

Stress puke aside, the short preview teases shenanigans aplenty, including a dead or possibily sedated pig in the back of a van and a drag race between Gilfoyle (Martin Starr) and Dinesh (recent “Saturday Night Live” host Kumail Nanjiani).

The show's co-creator Mike Judge joined the Stern Show most recently in 2014, much to Richard Christy’s immeasurable delight. In addition to discussing “Silicon Valley,” Judge spoke to Howard about his previous iconic TV shows, including “Beavis and Butt-head” and “King of the Hill.” He also played a few rounds of "King of the Hill" trivia with Richard, who was so elated he began to cry.
