A group of miraculously conceived children with extraordinary powers are adopted by a monocle-clad eccentric in the first teaser for Netflix’s “The Umbrella Academy,” and it might be up to them to save the world.

Set to a Tiffany’s “I Think We’re Alone Now,” the clip (above) shows the gifted orphans going their separate ways as teenagers before reuniting years later after the death of their billionaire father, Sir Reginald Hargreeves.

The surviving members, which include “Inception’s” Ellen Page and “Geostorm’s” Robert Sheehan, possess a wide array of powers ranging from super strength and time travel to the ability to talk to the dead and expert violin skills. Now, they’ll need to learn to work together once more to prevent the apocalypse and avoid death at the hands of an assassin played by Grammy-winning musician turned actress Mary J. Blige.

Executive produced by Steve Blackman (“Fargo”), “The Umbrella Academy” is adapted from My Chemical Romance singer Gerard Way’s award-winning Dark Horse Comics graphic novel of the same name. The show also stars Kate Walsh, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, David Castañeda, Aidan Gallagher, and Cameron Britton.

“The Umbrella Academy” debuts Feb. 15 on Netflix. Watch the teaser (above).
