Amy Schumer stars as an ordinary woman who suddenly sees herself in a different light after an accident in her upcoming comedy “I Feel Pretty.”

Her character Renee struggles with feelings of inadequacy in the opening scenes of the newly released trailer (above), but after taking a vicious tumble off an exercise bike her insecurities magically disappear. Now, when she looks in the mirror she sees a brand-new woman looking back at her—and a gorgeous one, to boot. Despite still looking the same to everyone around her, Renee’s enhanced self-image soon transforms her, filling her with a newfound confidence in both her professional and romantic endeavors.

During Amy’s most recent visit to the Stern Show, the actress and distinguished comedian revealed she’s quite confident with her appearance in real life. In fact, Amy even told Howard she was the one who suggested baring her breast in her 2017 film “Snatched,” co-starring Goldie Hawn.

“It felt good to shoot it. Like, it was kind of empowering,” Amy told Howard. “Let’s have them looked at before they’re on the floor.” Listen to a clip from the discussion (below) and check out her full sit-down with the King of All Media here.

Directed by Abby Kohn & Marc Silverstein, the “I Feel Pretty” co-stars “Blurred Lines” beauty Emily Ratajkowski, supermodel Naomi Campbell, “Saturday Night Live” performer Aidy Bryant, “Freaks and Geeks” veteran Busy Philipps, and four-time Oscar nominee Michelle Williams.

“I Feel Pretty” hits theaters on June 29. Check out the trailer (above).
