VIDEO: Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren Team Up on a Submarine in ‘Black Water’ Trailer

Action stars previously shared the screen in 2012's “The Expendables 2”

Jean-Claude Van Damme wakes up to learn he’s been imprisoned on a submarine in the official trailer for the upcoming undersea thriller “Black Water” (above).

The past Stern Show guest and renowned international action star plays Wheeler, a deep-cover operative who gets captured after a failed mission and then put aboard a sub doubling as a C.I.A. black site. To escape, Van Damme will have to team up with another renowned international action star in Dolph Lundgren, cast as a fellow prisoner who seems as deadly as he is mysterious.

It’s not the first time the two action titans have shared the screen, of course. They starred together in “Universal Soldier: Regeneration” and “The Expendables 2,” with the latter featuring a slew of past Stern Show guests in Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jet Li.

When Jean-Claude called into the show in 2012 to discuss “The Expendables 2,” the actor spoke to Howard all about his early career, which apparently even included a stint where he worked as a masseur. A few years later, Stern Show co-host Robin Quivers opened up about having a bit of a crush on Jean-Claude when he graced the show with his presence.

“I never dreamed I’d be into a guy like that,” she admitted to Howard.

“Black Water” is coming soon. Watch the film’s official trailer (above).
