Netflix has dropped one last trailer for Season 2 of “Marvel’s Luke Cage,” debuting later this month.

Set to the Fugees “Ready or Not,” the new trailer (above) sets up a showdown between bulletproof superhero Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and aspiring supervillain Mariah Dillard (Alfre Woodard). While Season 1 of the show focused in part on Mariah’s ascension from craven politician to fledgling crime lord, Season 2 will apparently see her enact a plan to take over her part of town and destroy anyone standing in her way—including the hero of Harlem, Luke Cage.

“You don’t need to be bulletproof to be a superhero,” Alfre’s character explains as the trailer begins (above). “Black women have always had superpowers … turn pain into progress. Harlem doesn’t need a superhero. It needs a queen.”

Mariah’s not the only villain on the prowl, either. The new trailer also teases Bushmaster (Mustafa Shakir), who looks to be as bulletproof as Cage, and the return of “Sons of Anarchy” star Theo Rossi as Mariah’s henchman Shades. Other Marvel-Netflix veterans reprising their roles include Luke Cage allies Misty Knight (Simone Missick) and Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), both of whom appeared on Season 1 of “Luke Cage” as well last year’s team-up series “The Defenders.”

Season 2 of “Marvel’s Luke Cage” debuts June 22 on Netflix. Watch the trailer (above).
