VIDEO: Mankind Encounters a Second Alien Antagonist in New ‘Predator’ Trailer

Sterling K. Brown, Olivia Munn, and Boyd Holbrook star in the Sept. 13 action-horror reboot

The galaxy’s most lethal hunters have returned to Earth to slaughter humans and apparently “make hats out of rib cages” in the latest trailer for “The Predator,” director and co-writer Shane Black’s upcoming reboot of the cult-adored 1987 original which starred himself alongside Stern Show veterans Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura.

The new trailer for the sci-fi horror flick opens on a conversation between a government agent played by Emmy-winning “This Is Us” star Sterling K. Brown and a science teacher played by Wrap Up Show veteran Olivia Munn. “Do you know what my job description is?” he asks her in the clip (above) over a montage of crashing alien spacecraft and murdered special forces soldiers. “I’m in acquisitions. I look up and I catch what falls out of the sky.”

Well, what’s fallen out of the sky this time is not one but at least two genetically modified, interstellar hunters who may be even stronger, smarter, and deadlier than the antagonists that populated the previous films in the franchise. Thankfully, an elite military unit consisting of “Narcos” star Boyd Holbrook and actor-comedian Keegan-Michael Key are on the case, along with a cast of co-stars including young Jacob Tremblay (“Room”) and Thomas Jane (“The Punisher” 2004).

“The Predator” opens Sept. 13. Watch the official trailer (above).
