VIDEO: Jesse Pinkman Is Back in First ‘Breaking Bad’ Movie Trailer

"El Camino" debuts on Netflix Friday, Oct. 11

September 23, 2019

Emmy viewers Sunday night were treated to a little Blue Magic thanks to Netflix dropping the first trailer for “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.”

Taking place after the events in the original series, which ended in 2013, the trailer opens with a spooked Jesse Pinkman parked in the middle of the dessert within the very same El Camino he escaped a drug cartel in during the series finale. Listening to news reports on the radio detailing the “horrific scene” that left several dead but Jesse alive (thanks to his former partner Walter White), Pinkman learns that he is a “person of interest” in the massacre.

Also starring Charles Baker (Skinny Pete) and Matt Jones (Badger) and written and directed by “Breaking Bad” creator Vince Gilligan, “El Camino” will be available on Netflix beginning Friday, Oct. 11 and also have a brief run in theaters Oct. 11-13. AMC, home to the original series as well as the spin-off, “Better Call Saul,” will air the film sometime next year.

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie” hits Netflix on Oct. 11.
