VIDEO: Harris Dickinson and Ralph Fiennes Take on Rasputin in Second ‘King’s Man’ Trailer
Word War I-era film, also starring Djimon Hounsou and Gemma Arterton, opens on Valentine's Day
September 30, 2019“Our enemies think we are gentle men but reputation is what people think of you, character is what you are,” Ralph Fiennes as the Duke of Oxford proclaims in the second trailer for “The King’s Man.”
Following up on the initial trailer from earlier this summer, this “Kingsman: The Secret Service” prequel features Rasputin (Rhys Ifans) leading a band of some of the world’s worst criminals who are collaborating in an effort of mass destruction. Fortunately, Fiennes’ secret agent character mentors young recruit Conrad (Harris Dickinson) to assist in thwarting such evil plans.
Also starring Gemma Arterton (“Quantum of Solace”), Djimon Hounsou (Korath the Pursuer in “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Captain Marvel”), and Tom Hollander (“Bohemian Rhapsody”), the Matthew Vaughn-directed film highlights “the first independent intelligence agency,” which can take action “while governments wait for orders.”
“The King’s Man” opens Feb. 14.
