Alanis Morissette’s monster 1995 album “Jagged Little Pill” is getting the Broadway treatment and, ahead of its November debut, a teaser of an updated “Head Over Feet” has been released.

Featuring cast members Celia Rose Gooding and Antonio Cipriano, the clip pays homage to the video for the 1996 hit with a simple black background and closeup shots. However, while Morissette’s original was a monologue, this Great White Way version is a duet that plays off of a budding romance between a young man and woman.

While “inspired by the themes and emotions” of the Grammy-winning album,” “Jagged Little Pill” the musical, with book by Academy Award-winner Diablo Cody, follows the Healys, a struggling suburban family that has to face some hard truths.

One of the most successful commercial releases of all time with over 33 million copies sold, Alanis told Howard in a 2015 interview how much “Jagged Little Pill” changed her life. She also performed one of the many hits she had off of that album, “You Oughta Know.” Watch Alanis and her band perform the single in the video (below).

“Jagged Little Pill” opens on Broadway Nov. 3.
