The Force is strong in the final trailer for “Star Wars: The Rise Skywalker,” arriving just before Christmas.

The clip for the latest “Star Wars” entry begins with Jedi heroine Rey (Daisy Ridley) running through the jungle, fleeing an unknown terror. But she eventually draws her lightsaber on an icy barge and prepares to take a stand against the villainous Kylo Ren (Stern Show veteran Adam Driver) in what may be the final showdown between the Light and the Dark Sides of the Force.

“People keep telling me they know me,” Rey tells him. “No one does.”

“But I do,” Kylo Ren responds while unleashing a lightsaber of his own.

Regardless, franchise veterans Mark Hamill and the late Carrie Fisher are there to remind Rey she won’t be fighting alone. “The Force will be with you,” Hamill’s iconic character Luke Skywalker tells her.

“Always,” Leia Organa (Fisher) adds—a callback to Obi-Wan Kenobi’s parting message in the 1977 original.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, “The Rise of Skywalker” also features John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Keri Russell, Lupita Nyong’o, Ian McDiarmid, and the return of Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian. When Driver joined the Stern Show in 2015, he opened up to Howard all about how he managed to land such a crucial part in the “Star Wars” franchise. Watch a clip from his sit down (below).

“Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” opens Dec. 20.
