Netflix has released the long-awaited “Stranger Things” Season 3 trailer, and it looks like Millie Bobby Brown and her Dungeons & Dragons-obsessed, demon-battling friends in Hawkins, Indiana, once again have their work cut out for them.

Set in 1985 to the sounds of the Who’s “Baba O’Riley,” the teaser follows the young group of heroes—Eleven (Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Will (Noah Schnapp), and Max (Sadie Sink)—over the course of a wild summer as they grapple with the onset of their teen years. It has everything one might expect from a small town coming-of-age story, including pool parties, Fourth of July fireworks, days wasted at the mall, and nights spent at a carnival. Because it’s “Stranger Things,” however, there’s also a healthy dose of shadowy government assassins, telekinetically controlled toys, and a brand-new, extra grotesque interdimensional monster.

The kids are joined by franchise mainstays David Harbour (who’s also starring in April’s “Hellboy” reboot), Winona Ryder, Natalia Dyer, and Joe Keery as well as “Stranger Things” newcomers Cary Elwes, Jake Busey, and Maya Hawke, the 20-year-old daughter of actors Ethan Hawke and Stern Show veteran Uma Thurman.

“Stranger Things 3” debuts July 4 on Netflix. Watch the official trailer (above).
