Repeat Stern Show guest’s new comedy set debuts April 2 on Netflix

March 22, 2019

Kevin Hart has returned to the stand-up stage in the first teaser for “Irresponsible,” his upcoming Netflix special.

The comedian, actor, producer, and repeat Stern Show guest tackles several personal subjects in the short clip, including failed romances and disciplining his son in the digital age. “As soon as I took his phone he immediately turned into a crackhead,” Kevin jokes in the teaser. “He said, ‘Come on, Daddy — don’t do me like that.’”

Filmed in front of 15,000 people at London’s O2 arena during Hart’s recent sold-out “Irresponsible” comedy tour, his Netflix debut also promises to touch upon “his friends, family, travel … and a year filled with Irresponsible behavior.”

While Kevin got his start on the stand-up stage, he’s starred in variety of major motion pictures, too, including “Night School, “Ride Along 2,” “The Upside,” and the blockbuster sequel “Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.” He spoke about the early days of his career during his 2016 visit to the Stern Show, telling Howard he was actually a struggling shoe salesman in Philadelphia before becoming a breakout star. He also opened up about auditioning for “Saturday Night Live” and shooting a pilot for fellow Stern Show guest Judd Apatow. Look back at Kevin’s full sit-down with the King of All Media here.
