VIDEO: Seth Rogen Chases Josh Hutcherson Through Time in ‘Future Man’ Season 3 Trailer

Hulu’s sci-fi comedy series returns for its final run on April 3

March 31, 2020

Seth Rogen chases a trio of fugitives through time and space in the official trailer for “Future Man” Season 3, landing on Hulu in April.

The actor, comedian, and repeat Stern Show guest stars on the sci-fi comedy series as Susan, a bearded prison warden of sorts who will stop at nothing re-apprehend a time-traveling janitor (Josh Hutcherson) and his futuristic pals Tiger (Eliza Coupe) and Wolf (Derek Wilson).

“As long as they are loose I’m going to be the one to bring them in,” Rogen’s character yells at one point (above).

Susan may ultimately be the least of the gang’s worries, however, as they’ll also have to contend with the everyday rigors of getting lost in time. “We need to figure out where and when we are,” Hutcherson’s character declares amid a montage of historical figures ranging from Mahatma Gandhi and Abraham Lincoln to Bruce Lee and perhaps even Jesus Christ himself.

Season 3 will serve as the final run for “Future Man,” which Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir created. In addition to co-starring on the last batch of episodes, Rogen also produces and directs the show alongside longtime creative partner Evan Goldberg. The duo has teamed up countless times in the past on projects ranging from “Knocked Up” to “Sausage Party” to AMC’s “Preacher.”

Of course, Evan isn’t the only Hollywood heavyweight Seth has partnered up with in recent years. Rogen visited the Stern Show on two separate occasions in 2019 and brought a celebrity along him each time. In April, he and Charlize Theron joined Howard for a wide-ranging discussion about their film “Long Shot.” In October, Seth and fellow marijuana enthusiast Snoop Dogg visited the Stern Show during its Los Angeles run and delivered a joint interview for the ages.
