AUDIO: Sia Debuts New Song ‘Saved My Life’ During COVID-19 Fundraiser

Stern Show veteran co-writes the tune with Grammy winner Dua Lipa

May 5, 2020

Sia fans are once again swinging from the chandelier after the Australian singer-songwriter released her latest single, “Saved My Life.”

The song, which she co-wrote with Grammy-winning pop star Dua Lipa and producer Greg Kurstin, arrived just hours after Sia first debuted it at Americares’ “COVID Is No Joke,” a star-studded fundraising event in which she appeared alongside fellow Stern Show veterans Bryan Cranston, Ike Barinholtz, Chelsea Handler, Jack Black, and Mindy Kaling, among others.

Sia has pledged to donate her portion of the “Saved My Life” proceeds to Americares and CORE Response, which aims to support high-risk populations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sia famously tends to purposefully obscure her face on stage as she did once again on Friday while performing “Saved My Life” at the benefit. As Stern Show listeners will remember, however, Sia wasn’t very shy during her 2014 sit down with Howard. Not only did the acclaimed artist open up about her life and music career, but she also put on a live performance from the studio. Look back at her Stern Show visit here.
