After a four-year hiatus, Aziz Ansari’s Netflix series “Master of None” has nearly returned.

The streamer dropped the official trailer this week for the relationship-comedy’s third season, arriving in May. While Ansari has returned to direct, he doesn’t appear to be starring in the new batch of episodes. Instead, the show shifts focus to the returning character Denise (Lena Waithe) and her new partner Alicia (Naomi Ackie).

“Hypothetical for you. Let’s say we’re at a party. Maxwell’s playing. You don’t know me. I don’t know you. And I ask you out on a date. Would you say yes?” Denise asks Alicia in the 90-second trailer (above) which teases a season filled with ups and downs for the couple.

“Yeah. I said yes then. I’d say yes now,” Alicia character responds.

“Master of None” was co-created by Alan Yang (“Forever”) and Ansari, who made his Stern Show debut in 2014 and opened up to Howard about everything from his beginnings as a comedian to a hilarious interaction he once had with rapper Kanye West.

Master of None” Season 3 debuts May 21 on Netflix.
