Neo’s back and this time he’s … seeing a shrink?

Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss return as Neo and Trinity in the official trailer for “The Matrix Resurrections,” Lana Wachowski’s follow-up to the Wachowski siblings’ blockbuster “Matrix” trilogy from the late ‘90s and early 2000s.

The clip begins with a therapist played by longtime Stern Show guest Neil Patrick Harris consoling his patient. “Thomas, you seem particularly triggered,” he tells Reeves’s character. “Can you tell me what happened?”

“I had dreams that weren’t just dreams,” he responds over trippy digitized imagery “Matrix” fans will no doubt recall.

Written by Wachowski & David Mitchell & Aleksander Hemo, “Resurrections” also co-stars newcomers Christina Ricci, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (“Aquaman”), Jessica Henwick (“Iron Fist”), Jonathan Groff (“Mindhunter”), and Priyanka Chopra Jonas (“Quantico”) as well as a couple other franchise veterans, including Lambert Wilson and 2015 Stern Show guest Jada Pinkett Smith.

“The Matrix Resurrections” debuts Dec. 22 in theaters and on HBO Max.
