Harry Styles Strips Down to His Bright Red Boxers and Dances in ‘As It Was’ Music Video

Song hails from superstar’s May album “Harry’s House”

April 1, 2022

Harry Styles wears his emotions on his sleeve and not much else in the brand-new music video for “As It Was,” the first song off his upcoming album “Harry’s House.”

Directed by Ukrainian filmmaker Tanu Muino, the clip sees the 28-year-old superstar dancing around in bright red overalls while trying to reconnect with a love interest in blue who, for one reason after another, keeps getting pulled away from him. Harry eventually strips down to his bright red boxers while other women in their underwear attempt to seduce him.

Arriving in May, “Harry’s House” is the former One Direction star’s third solo album. Styles collaborated with Kid Harpoon, Tyler Johnson, and Mitch Rowland on the 13-track effort, which was recorded in the United Kingdom, Los Angeles, and Tokyo.

Harry was an open book when he sat down with Howard in 2020 to promote his sophomore album “Fine Line.” He spoke about his reasons for leaving One Direction, how he survived being robbed at knifepoint, and even regaled listeners with a few live, in-studio musical performances. Check out Harry’s rendition of Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” (below).

“Harry’s House” arrives May 20.
