Performance also includes tracks off the rockers’ new album, “Pretty Vicious”

The Struts, one of England’s hardest-hitting rock bands, are coming to Howard 101.

“The Struts graciously came to my studio to perform a private session,” Howard announced Wednesday, explaining the British quartet played several songs off their new album, “Pretty Vicious,” and covered the Rolling Stones tune “Tumbling Dice” (above).

“If you’re a fan of rock and you’re a fan of that band, I think you’ll really enjoy the performance,” he continued before also taking a moment to compliment his own technical crew. “The sound is so crisp and good, and the video team does such extraordinary work with covering the musicians.”

Arriving Friday, Nov. 3, “Pretty Vicious” is the fourth studio album for the Struts — who consist of frontman Luke Spiller, guitarist Adam Slack, bassist Jed Elliott, and drummer Gethin Davies. This upcoming concert special marks the first time the band has performed in the Stern Show studio since the acclaimed rockers recorded a cover of “Suffragette City” for the Stern Show’s 2018 tribute to late music icon David Bowie.

“Hear them Friday night on Howard 101 and see the videos on the SiriusXM app,” Howard concluded.
