Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon weren’t the only celebrities to sing a song parody for Howard on his birthday. Country music superstar and recent Stern Show guest Dolly Parton also contributed a music-filled birthday performance, courtesy of longtime caller Mariann from Brooklyn.

“This was wild,” Howard told listeners Tuesday morning. “[Mariann] sent me a Dolly Parton birthday message for my birthday. … It’s not a Cameo. It’s a card — and Dolly sings happy birthday. It even says my name.”

“[Dolly] had just been on the show, and it was just a great interview, I wanted you to have it,” Mariann responded, adding, “You’re very hard to buy for, Howard.”

“Birthday Time,” which parodies Dolly’s legendary workplace anthem “9 to 5,” sees Dolly dancing and singing on stage while flanked by back-up singers and lights spelling out the name “Howard.”

“The way I figure is they lock Dolly in a cage for a year and she has to sing every name in existence,” Howard joked. “It was pretty cool, actually. Thank you for that,” he told Mariann.
