Elisabeth Hasselbeck Is Wrong Twice Over

Howard mentioned ‘The View’ co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s recent comments about Erin Andrews’s sexy outfits on ‘Dancing with the Stars’–she’d said: “As inexcusable as it was for that horrific guy to go in and try to peep on [Erin] in her hotel room, in some way, if I’m him, I’m like, ‘Man, I could have just waited 12 weeks. I could have seen this, a little bit less, without the prison time.'”

Howard took issue first with the statement itself: “Women are just brutal to one another…you can’t say a woman was raped because she behaved differently than a woman who wasn’t raped. It’s–it’s just unthinkable to me.”

Howard then attacked the limp apology Elisabeth had offered on Wednesday’s show: “She’s apologized because she hurt somebody, but you’ve got to come out and say, ‘My view is wrong.'”
