Maria Menounos Gets Engaged Live on Howard Stern Show

Longtime boyfriend Keven Undergaro popped the question in the middle of her Wednesday morning interview

Maria Menounos got the shock of her life on Wednesday morning when longtime boyfriend Keven Undergaro proposed to her live on the Howard Stern Show.

“Although I said that this isn’t a proposal I want to ask you something, Maria,” Keven said while getting down on one knee. “Will you make me the happiest man on Earth?”

With a gasp, Maria responded, “Are you freaking kidding me right now?!”

“This show’s meant so much to both of us,” Keven continued, saying that he and Maria have been listening to Howard on the radio for years. “I said, one day you will be on that show and you will be a star and here you are.”

Maria said yes and brought her parents, Costas and Litsa Menounos, into the studio to celebrate.

“I’m thrilled,” Maria’s mom Litsa told Howard. “We wanted her to get married with the right person and there he is.”

Keven informed the audience that Howard’s wife Beth Stern helped him pick out the engagement ring and that he plans on asking for her help in planning the wedding, too. Only Beth, Howard, Maria’s parents, and Maria’s publicist knew that Keven planned on proposing during her Stern Show appearance.

“I’ve never been able to pull anything off on her in 19 years,” Keven said.

“I cannot believe you got this past me,” Maria responded.

Before they walk down the aisle, however, Keven wanted to make sure they got the prenuptial agreement out of the way, which he had in hand for Maria to sign.

“I’ve prepared our prenuptials thanks to LegalZoom.com,” Keven said, adding that he gets nothing, except his 1994 Dodge van.

“He’s helped me through this entire journey,” Maria said of Keven. “We’ve been partners all the way through.”

Maria and Keven are the second couple to get engaged on the Howard Stern Show this month. Last week, Ronnie Mund proposed over the phone to his girlfriend Stephanie Carney by having her find an engagement ring he’d hidden in their bedroom closet.

Maria made her Stern Show debut in 2004 and has been a regular guest since that first appearance.

“After 19 years, it’s about fucking time with you two,” Howard said to the happy couple on Wednesday. Our congratulations to Maria and Keven!
