Jimmy Kimmel returns for the second day of his Stern Show residency

Jimmy Kimmel returned for the second day of his Stern Show residency on Wednesday morning and traded some stories with Howard about fitness personality and treasured guest Richard Simmons.
In fact, he revealed there was a time when his staff was “obsessed” with the famed drop of Simmons yelling out for Gary Dell’Abate. The only exception was “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” co-head writer Gary Greenberg, who was on the receiving end of the sound bite.
“Every writer on our staff had these drops on their computer and all day long it was just a cacophony of Garys,” Jimmy told Howard. This went on for 20 days.
Howard also shared his infamous story of inviting Richard over for a dinner party at his house alongside Joe Piscopo, which ended with Simmons throwing the hors d’oeuvres in the pool.
“He doesn’t stop,” Howard said with a laugh, adding “Richard was the best [talk show] guest.”
