Late-night hosts are happy to perform with each other no matter whose show is actually winning in the ratings
December 11, 2017
Who in late-night TV really has the No. 1 show? It doesn’t matter
to hosts Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, and Stephen Colbert who all came together
on Wednesday’s Stern Show to sing a special Christmas carol about their
ratings.
Sure, Stephen points out that “The Late Show” is leading in overall
viewers, while Fallon argues his “Tonight Show” scores the highest rating in
the coveted 18-49 demo, and Kimmel reminds both they inherited established
late-night series while he built his audience from scratch. But despite all of that, they’re
the best of friends!
