On Wednesday, Howard teased the Wack History Month special airing next week on Howard 101. Hosted by “Survivor” stalwart and Stern Show celebrity superfan Jeff Probst, the tribute will highlight some of the show’s most beloved Wack Packers, living and dead.

“It’s going to be a beautiful show,” Howard explained.

He and co-host Robin Quivers then began reminiscing about one iconic Wack Packer, Hank the Angry Drunken Dwarf. “Whenever there’s a question as to who was the greatest Wack Packer, Hank’s name always comes up,” Robin said. “People still remember.”

Howard recalled meeting Hank in 1996 after he showed up to the radio station and demanded to see the King of All Media, seemingly drunken and wearing a Hawaiian shirt. Despite his gruff demeanor, Hank turned out to be a rock and roll expert, even famously beating Gary Dell’Abate in a trivia challenge. Listen to a clip (below).

Another fan favorite set to be honored is Suzanne “Underdog” Muldowney and on Wednesday Shuli had an update for Howard from his recent call with her.

“She told me that this upcoming Mermaid Parade is going to be her official last Mermaid Parade,” Shuli revealed.

After marching for 24 years in a row at the parade, Shuli said that she had reached a point where there’s just “too much skin” and “too much sin” for her liking.

If it’s up to her, you won’t be missing Underdog for too long, though, as she is still seeking her invite to perform on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” As fans will remember, Suzanne confronted Jimmy Kimmel when he visited the Stern Show studio in August for not responding to her letter.

“Do you think that Jimmy Kimmel will come to New York again to make some of his show episodes from there?” Underdog asked Shuli on their most recent call. “Because he got me all worked up last year … and then I never got to be in the program.”

If Jimmy does end up calling her, Suzanne said that he would have to be careful what time of year it was as her costumes are timed to holidays, anniversaries, and other milestones.

Seeking to learn a little more about the ever-fascinating Suzanne, Shuli also took some time to ask her a few general questions and gleaned some unique facts. In addition to revealing she has no sense of smell and sharing a tale of a sewing project going awry, Underdog revealed she has a fondness for Arby’s roast beef sandwiches, so much so that she buys them in bulk and freezes her leftovers.

Listen to Suzanne explain her process (below).
