For over a year, Ronnie Mund has been talking about his plan to retire from the Stern Show and move to Las Vegas with his fiancée Stephanie. On Monday, Howard’s longtime limo driver insisted he has no intention of changing his mind.

“The plan is we’re going to move out there. Stephanie’s got a job lined up already. I’m going to lay on my fucking ass by the pool,” Ronnie announced in the studio, saying he planned on calling it quits after the final Stern Show of 2020.

He’s already starting to looking at real estate in Sin City, according to his colleague Shuli Egar. Ronnie didn’t deny the allegation. “What’s wrong with that? What the fuck is wrong with that?” he yelled.

Howard feared his longtime driver might well be lost without the job, which he’s held for 35 of his 70 years on Earth. “You don’t even have a hobby,” Howard said.

“Don’t worry about it,” Ronnie insisted. “I’ll be fine.”

Pointing out how much Ronnie seems to enjoy hobnobbing with celebrities like Mötley Crüe’s Vince Neil and making cameo appearances in movie’s like Adam Sandler’s “The Week Of,” Howard also worried Ronnie might grow disenchanted with life out of the Stern Show spotlight.

Shuli guessed he’d grow so bored that he’d start taxiing people around Vegas. “He’ll be Ronnie the Angry Uber Driver,” Howard’s co-host Robin Quivers laughed.

Though Howard didn’t begrudge him for wanting to start the next chapter of his life, he did want to make sure it wasn’t a decision Ronnie would live to regret. “I love you, pal,” Howard said. “I know you think I’m ragging on you, but I don’t want to see you make a mistake.”

Regardless of when Ronnie’s ride with the Stern Show will be coming to an end, his journey with his fiancée Stephanie seems to just be getting started. The happy couple recently sent Howard and Robin their 2019 holiday card which showed the two of them enjoying life in a variety of different places.

“His Christmas card is like six pictures … and every picture you look at, it’s like, ‘I can’t believe she’s with him,’” Howard explained, saying Ronnie’s might be the greatest X-mas card he’s ever seen.

Robin, meanwhile, thought the holiday card gave off a different vibe. “It looks like something you get from the kidnapper,” she said.
