Grammy-winning musician and producer Jack Antonoff has worked behind the boards for some of the best in the business, from Taylor Swift to the Dixie Chicks. Now, he’s adding another artist to his roster: Howard Stern. After Howard debuted a song recently to thank wife Beth Stern for all her hard work during their quarantine, Antonoff will be adding his touch to the track.
“Over the weekend I recorded a vocal track for a studio version and the great singer-songwriter and producer Jack Antonoff agreed to produce it,” Howard said Tuesday. “He’s a big deal.”
“You’re going to win a Grammy for Best New Artist this year,” co-host Robin Quivers predicted.
“That’s correct, Jack promised me that,” Howard joked.
Musicians have already started to draw inspiration from the tune, as Howard played EDM and singer-songwriter versions that are making the rounds. “As a songwriter, when you write these songs you never imagine that the world will start covering them,” Howard said humbly.
“That’s a big tribute when someone wants to do your song,” Robin agreed.
