VIDEO: Does Ralph Cirella’s Laugh Sound Like the Cowardly Lion’s Cry?

A Stern Show fan had the staff in stitches Monday morning after he astutely compared the laugh of Howard’s longtime stylist Ralph Cirella to the cry of “The Wizard of Oz’s” Cowardly Lion, memorably portrayed by actor Bert Lahr.

After playing side-by-side clips of Ralph and the iconic film character, Howard couldn’t help but agree. “This is such a great observation,” he said. “This is brilliant.”

“Wow,” co-host Robin Quivers added with a laugh. “You know what we should do? We should dub Ralph where he laughs [over the lion’s cry].”

Robin’s idea was so good the staff ran with it later in the show. Check out Ralph’s laugh dubbed into “The Wizard of Oz” (above).
