Howard and Beth Stern Were Invited to Be on ‘Celebrity Family Feud’
“I play pretty well when I watch Steve Harvey … but we both agreed we’d choke on TV,” he explains of their decision to turn it down
They might be avid watchers of both “Celebrity Family Feud” and “Family Feud” but don’t expect Howard and wife Beth Stern to appear on either anytime soon.
“I turned it down,” Howard announced Tuesday morning of declining the offer to appear on the celebrity edition of the game show. “I play pretty well when I watch Steve Harvey … like Beth’s very impressed with me … but we both agreed we’d choke on TV.”
Despite encouragement from co-host Robin Quivers, Howard was adamant it would never happen – though he did discuss who he would and wouldn’t bring on as fellow panelists if he did. “I know we wouldn’t take my parents … my kids are smart, so they’d probably do well,” he explained before going in a different direction altogether. “I was thinking maybe I’d have my radio family on – like Fred would be good.”
