Sal Screams, Cries, but Doesn’t Vomit During Intense Breathwork Event
“I was breathing and trying to concentrate, and I just got this [whiff] of like hotdogs from somebody vomiting,” Stern Show staffer recalls of his experience
The spiritual path of Sal Governale continues. On Tuesday, the Stern Show staffer opened up about attending a breathwork seminar where, under the guidance of a guru, attendees practice intense breathing to release unprocessed energy.
“I’m always looking to enhance my intuition,” Sal said in a piece of audio of why he decided to go. “It’s something that I believe can open the channels to my intuition to what people what would consider to be their inner wisdom.”
Though Sal did not, many of the practitioners that day experienced vomiting due to the exercises. “You’re trying to concentrate on breathing and then you’re looking for your guides and all of a sudden somebody’s just vomiting behind you,” he recalled. “I was breathing and trying to concentrate, and I just got this [whiff] of like hotdogs from somebody vomiting.”
“If the only way for me to be spiritually connected is through vomiting repeatedly, I don’t want it,” Howard responded.
“At least I was on ayahuasca when I threw up,” co-host Robin Quivers added of her own spiritual journey.
Even without vomiting, Sal came out of the seminar with so much gratitude for his loved ones, and especially his mother, that he began to cry.
“I couldn’t believe everything that was pouring out of him,” fellow staffer Wolfie, who was in attendance, rememebered. “He was wearing a sleeping mask, and I could see tears coming out the side.”
