Have you had a bad day recently? According to a new study, you can blame that on your morning.

The Berry Company has recently released the results of a new survey taken by 2,000 people on what helps them start their day on the right, or very wrong, foot. The UK drink brand discovered that the many factors involved in kicking off a day poorly include waking up groggy, early morning mood swings, and sleeping through your alarm. However, effective solutions to the rise-and-shine blues included relaxing, listening to music, and a healthy breakfast.

More than 40 percent of those surveyed indicated that their mornings were often lifted by a stranger's random act of kindness. With that information, the Berry Company took to the streets one morning to conduct a social experiment, performing random acts of kindness -- including distributing free hugs and money -- on folks heading to work.
