Video: The Brits Are Back in ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ First Official Trailer
Cowboys Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges join the spy sequel due out Sept. 22
April 25, 201720th Century Fox has dropped the first official trailer (above) for “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” the follow-up to 2015’s blockbuster “Kingsman: The Secret Service.”
After defeating Samuel L. Jackson‘s Valentine in the original, one would think all troubles were in the rearview mirror for Taron Egerton’s Eggsy. However, an explosive attack on the Kingsman headquarters proves there’s still more spy games to be played. A trip to America reveals the U.S. has its own secret agency called the “Statesman” that will join in on defeating the enemy this time around. As Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” crescendos over “Golden Circle’s” high-octane action scenes, fans are introduced to our two new cowboy combatants, Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges.
But perhaps the trailer’s best twist is saved for last as Colin Firth’s character Galahad appears to still be alive … and shaving.
“Kingsman: The Golden Circle” also stars Julianne Moore, Mark Strong, and Halle Berry. Matthew Vaughn returns to direct and co-write.
“Kingsman: The Golden Circle” hits theaters Sept. 22, 2017.
