VIDEO: Zoe Saldana, Julianne Moore Lend a Hand on Sia’s Poignant ‘Free Me’

Musician and 2014 Stern Show guest pledges to donate all the proceeds from her new song

June 9, 2017

Sia premiered a moving new video this week for her song “Free Me,” and has also pledged to donate its proceeds to #endHIV, a campaign aimed at helping to “break HIV and end AIDS.”

Starring “Guardians of the Galaxy’s” Zoe Saldana and narrated by Oscar winner Julianne Moore, the poignantly choreographed short film tells the story of an expectant mother (Zoe) who has just been diagnosed with HIV.

“Free Me” isn’t the only inspiring track Sia has released in recent weeks, either. In late May she dropped “To Be Human,” a new song for the Gal Gadot film “Wonder Woman.” When Sia visited the Stern Show in 2014 she spoke with Howard about what went into writing some of her greatest hits, as well as why she tends to stay out of the spotlight herself.
