Adam West’s final turn as Batman just got a trailer and a release date.

“Batman vs. Two-Face,” hitting digital and DVD on Oct. 17, stars the recently departed West as the voice of the Caped Crusader and Stern Show veteran William Shatner as the voice of his deformed nemesis Two-Face. The animated film also features the voices of several of West’s longtime “Batman” co-stars, Burt Ward (Robin) and Julie Newmar (Catwoman), among others.

DC Entertainment has also dropped the first trailer for “Batman vs. Two-Face” (above), which begins with Batman thwarting Gotham’s mad scientist Hugo Strange. His crime fighting inadvertently leads to District Attorney Harvey Dent getting badly injured, however, and before you know it Dent has transformed into the villain Two-Face. Eventually Two-Face teams up with Gotham’s fiercest foes and the Dark Knight and his Boy Wonder must try and save the day.

West, a longtime friend of the Stern Show, died in June at the age of 88 after battling leukemia. His loss was felt far and wide, including by Howard who later paid a touching tribute to the actor and entertainment icon, saying “I loved Adam West, he was a good guy.”
