VIDEO: Bryan Cranston Is Fascinated by Larry David’s Mind in New ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Season 9 Trailer

Stern Show guest’s Emmy-winning HBO comedy returns Oct. 1

September 11, 2017

The world may have changed a great deal in the six years since HBO last aired new episodes of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” but Larry David’s on-screen persona hasn’t changed one bit.

The show’s star and creator remains as curmudgeonly as ever in the newly released trailer for “Curb Your Enthusiasm” Season 9. Whether he’s “yoo-hoo”-ing a judge or knocking over a pushy sales lady, it’s clear he’s back to his old tricks.

In addition to returning co-stars like Jeff Garlin, Richard Lewis, Bob Einstein, Susie Essman, and J.B. Smoove, the trailer also teases one of the 10-episode season’s highly anticipated guest stars: Emmy-winning actor and Stern Show regular Bryan Cranston, seemingly as Larry’s therapist.

“I enjoy the mind of Larry David,” Cranston tells Larry in the trailer (above) before muttering “Dear God.”

Larry, who also appears in the upcoming Netflix documentary “Long Shot,” made his Stern Show debut in 2015. In addition to discussing Larry’s career and his hit show “Seinfeld,” he and Howard discussed the possibility of another season of “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” Check out their conversation here.

“Curb Your Enthusiasm” Season 9 premieres Sunday, Oct. 1 on HBO. Watch the latest trailer (above).
