Seth Meyers has signed on to host the 75th Golden Globe Awards, according to multiple reports. It will mark the 43-year-old comedian’s first time hosting the annual ceremony, airing in January on NBC.

The repeat Stern Show guest and “Late Night” star will follow in the footsteps of his late-night lead-in Jimmy Fallon, who emceed the 74th edition of the awards show earlier this year. Other recent hosts include Ricky Gervais in 2016 and Tiny Fey and Amy Poehler, who held the gig three years in a row starting in 2013.

This marks the latest of several collaborations between Seth and NBC, which include his late-night talk show, a recently announced “Munsters” reboot, an upcoming series called “A.P. Bio,” and his previous tenure as “Weekend Update” anchor and head writer on “Saturday Night Live.”

While Seth hasn’t hosted the Golden Globes before, this isn’t his first time emceeing a major live television event. He previously hosted the 2014 Emmys and the 2011 White House Correspondents Dinner.

The 2018 Golden Globes, which recognizes achievements in both film and TV, will be broadcast live on Jan. 7 from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.
