Marvel Studios dropped the first "Black Panther" poster on Friday, just hours before releasing the upcoming film's first official trailer during Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
It's the first solo outing for Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther, who made his debut last year in "Captain America: Civil War," co-starring Chris Evans and frequent Stern Show guest Robert Downey Jr. Though the poster (below) is simple—depicting Black Panther sitting, sans mask, on a throne—it represents the duality of a character who is T'Challa, the King of Wakanda, by day and an Adamantium-clawed superhero by night.
"You are a good man with a good heart, and it's hard for a good man to be a king," explains an ominous voice in the trailer.
Michael B. Jordan ("Fantastic Four"), Lupita Nyong'o ("Star Wars: The Force Awakens"), Danai Gurira ("The Walking Dead"), Andy Serkis ("Avengers: Age of Ultron"), Daniel Kaluuya ("Get Out"), Martin Freeman, Forest Whitaker, and Angela Bassett co-star in the 2018 film, with Ryan Coogler ("Creed") directing.

"Black Panther" hits theaters Feb. 16, 2018.
